UNLV Loses Chris Beard due to horrible contract writing

Who is responsible for the contract that was given to Chris Beard for coaching the UNLV Mens basketball team? The contract might be the worst ever written because it had a one million dollar buy out clause. Was there more than one Person that saw this clause and thought it was good? One million dollars is peanuts to ANY college that wants a good basketball coach. There should have been a minimum of 10 million dollars in that clause and Chris Beard would still have signed it. UNLV is very typical of how State Schools are run, just like the US Government. Any private business would have been smarter in the writing of this contract. What will UNLV do with the one million dollars? They will have to give a lot more than that just to find a new coach.
