The Cromwell is formerly Bills Gamblin, which was formerly The Barbary Coast. This hotel is bad news for bargain hotel shoppers all over Vegas. It took cheap rooms and replaced them with expensive ones. Las Vegas is running out of cheap rooms as the years go by. Soon, the price of rooms will be double.
The Cromwell is a Boutique Hotel, the Casino is only 40,000 square feet which is small by Las Vegas standards but plenty big enough to find the games You want to play.
The feature of this hotel is the roof top pool. You can hear the thumbing of the music all the way at ground level, that same thumbing goes all the way through the hotel for every room to hear until 4am. If You like to sleep before 4am, do not book a room here. But if You like the party life, this is probably the best place to stay. It is in the best location at center strip and is just a short walk to the monorail if You want to venture out.
