FSU Wins the game, but for only the second time this year loses against the spread. The win saves LVH more than one million dollars on prop bets. The bets were made at the beginning of the season when Auburn was a 1000 to one long shot. One single better had a million dollar ticket to be cashed if Auburn won the game outright. The spread started at 8.5 and went down to as low as 7 but then went back to 10 at game time. But the spread was the least of LVH’s problems on Monday night, The game looked like it was going for Auburn for almost the entire game and they had to sweat it out all the way to the end. If Auburn had won the LVH would have shelled out more than 1.2 million in just prop bets. Will it change the way they offer prop bets in the future? They say no, it will not.
