A fire at the pool deck of the Cosmopolitan filled up the sky with dark gray smoke. The fire looked much worse than it probably was. We do not know the extent of the damage but the fire was serious enough to shut down the Strip from Flamingo to Tropicana. One Person was hospitalized and many were evacuated. The amount of smoke was much more than a fire this size would normally make. The reason there was so much smoke is the fire spread to the fake palm trees and plastic produces more smoke than any other material. The swimming pool was already re-opened just one day after the fire. Can’t stop MONEY!
