Can You drink tap water all over Vegas?

Short answer is YES, You can drink the tap water that is provided out of the tap all over Vegas. That includes what You will get out of the sink in Your hotel room. The only exception is if there is some type of rare contamination and in that case You would certainly be notified not to drink out of the tap. As far as I know this has never happened all over Vegas. The U.S. Government has set up regulations that hotels must follow when providing water for guest, it is part of the clean water act. Some People think that a high priced hotel with kitchenette is a safe place to drink from the tap but it is absolutely the same water that comes out of the tap at the sink and also what is supplied for the toilet. You might see some places that have water being used on landscaping that has warning signs telling You that the water is not safe to drink, don’t worry that water is not the same water that is supplied to Your hotel room.

Now, does the water taste good? I would say the water is OKAY, at best, not horrible but I wouldn’t call it great. So if You are used to drinking water that taste just like bottle water, like the type You find all over Florida, You might not like Las Vegas water. A lot of the appeal to bottled water is the taste not the safety, so if You are okay with the taste of the Las Vegas water from the tap, drink up! Save money!

But as difficult as it is to bring enough water to Your room, You might put up with a slightly not so great taste of the tap water. But remember, Walgreens is all over Vegas, as well as a few CVS’s and ABC stores. They all sell cases of bottled water fairly cheap. Just do not stock up on bottled water from the Hotel gift shop, You might go broke.

It is very easy to grab a bottled water as You walk all over Vegas. ABC stores always has a 99 cent water, sometimes its a 16 oz and sometimes twice that. Walgreens, CVS and 7-11 always have at least one generic brand water for a dollar or less so You can just be sure to stop off as You walk and get a water a few times a day.
