You have seen these street performers or buskers all over Vegas and if You have seen one You have seen them all. There is very little talent shown from any of them but they continue to expect tips from tourist. Most are characters in heavy costume, like Mickey Mouse, Sponge Bob and transformers. What talent does it take to put on a costume? Tourist continue to give them money then realize they really didn’t want their picture taken with that idiot but they did because they were drunk. Most are harmless but some get angry when People do not understand the system and get their picture taken but do not give them a tip or just take a picture of them without being in the picture. Plenty of fights have developed, usually verbally but sometimes physically.

The City of Las Vegas is considering doing something about it in Downtown Vegas. The Strip which is not part of the City of Las Vegas has more of a problem with it. There are times when the sidewalk is completely blocked by rap performers or brake dancers and the police are reluctant to break it up.
